Collaboration with Mark Jeffrey's
In March 2018 Mark Jeffrey and I collaborated to create an artwork inspired by our thoughts, the objects and the materials that we were using at the time. We took parts of my artwork “Band_Aids” that was made of wood and we combined them with the fabric that was a part of Mark’s work. We displayed them in a small forest through the trees and the landscape. We were inspired by the artist Mickael Rakowitz who talked about the idea of bandage: “Something that heals a wound while also enabling people to see the wounded”. While displaying our work in the forest Mark started taking photos of the landscape through the holes of the “Band_Aids”. The photos had an atmospheric result and I felt that we set ourselves free to play with the objects, the materials and the landscape.
